No speaker system can match the chest-thumping bass and the infectious rhythm of a live Punjabi Dhol. It is the original instrument of celebration in Indian culture.
At LuxuryBaraat.com, we provide professional Dholis (Dhol Players) who are masters of rhythm. They don’t just play a beat; they control the energy of the crowd. Whether it is the slow, rhythmic beat for the groom’s entry on the Ghodi, or the fast-paced Bhangra rhythm that gets the aunties and uncles dancing, our Dholis adapt to the moment.
A live Dhol is versatile. It requires no electricity, fits in elevators, works in society lanes, and leads the Baraat with an acoustic sound that cuts through the night.
When you book our Dholis, you aren’t just getting “noise.” You are getting specific rhythmic cycles (Taals) tailored to the moment.
The Dhol is a rhythm instrument. We cannot play the “lyrics” of a song. However, we can play the beat of popular songs like “Kala Chashma” or “Morni.” It sounds like the instrumental version of the song.
It is loud, but controllable. For indoor hotel halls, our Dholis use a softer touch or synthetic stick tips to dampen the volume while keeping the rhythm.
we have female Dholis available for Ladies Sangeet functions upon request. They are highly popular for bridal entries.
